Group Hang: Print Edition is the second public exhibition presented by Facebook's Artist in Residence (FB AIR) program. It showcases a variety of prints made by past AIRs in the Analog Research Laboratory (ARL), Facebook’s on-site art and printmaking studio.

The exhibition brings together the mission of the FB AIR program, which encourages resident artists to experiment and take risks with their work, with the ARL’s creative education program's focus on creating new opportunities for diverse audiences to access and engage with art-making processes such as printmaking.

Group Hang: Print Edition features nearly 100 prints created by past FB AIRs using silkscreen and Risograph printing techniques. Prior to their experiences as FB AIRs, many artists had limited knowledge of printmaking processes, and several who have since make printing a central part of their practices. One copy of each artist print is framed for display, and additional copies of most of the prints are available for purchase, with proceeds donated to a nonprofit organization of each artist's choice.

Alongside the room of AIR prints, the exhibition features an Analog Research Lab Pop-Up, presenting a series of public artist-run workshops, drop-in maker hours, and other ancillary programming that is free and open to the public of all ages. We welcome you to join us at our first public ARL Pop-Up in San Francisco to enjoy drop-in activities during gallery hours and free workshops throughout the month.
