About
Located in San Francisco’s historic Dogpatch district, the Minnesota Street Project offers economically sustainable spaces for art galleries, artists and related nonprofits. MSP seeks to strengthen San Francisco's contemporary art community while developing an internationally recognized arts destination. Founded by entrepreneurs and collectors Deborah and Andy Rappaport, Minnesota Street Project was inspired by their belief that philanthropic support for the arts today requires an alternate model—one that uplifts the innovative nature of San Francisco and the Bay Area as a whole.

Situated in the center of the MSP campus, 1275 Minnesota Street houses over a dozen independently owned contemporary art galleries, a 4,600-square-foot Atrium, as well as a private lounge space available for cultural, philanthropic and corporate events interested in engaging with the visual arts.

Minnesota Street Project Atrium
The Atrium features exposed steel beams, polished concrete floors, oak bleacher seating, kitchen and ADA compliant public bathrooms. The versatile space is perfect for special events ranging from lectures to auctions, and performances.

Minnesota Street Project Lounge
The Lounge space features custom designed oak tables and club chairs. This intimate space is suitable for smaller engagements including private dinners, offsite meetings, or small receptions.

Rental Rates
Atrium  - full buyout rate $5,000 + $1500 fully refundable security deposit and added security and cleaning fees based on event guest count and event timing.

Lounge - full buyout rate $1500 +$1000 fully refundable security  deposit and added security and cleaning fees based on event guest count and event timing.

NOTE: Clients will need to provide their own A/V and sound equipment as needed.

Other restrictions apply: Minnesota Street Project is a public building with 14 commercial gallery spaces that are open to the public 10am-6pm, Tuesday through Saturday. Any and all events, including loading in and loading out must be respectful of these businesses and the patrons that visit them.
