Burning in Water - San Francisco is pleased to present a gallery event featuring Brooklyn-based artist Valerie Hegarty on Saturday, June 23 in conjunction with her current exhibition American Berserk. Valerie will be mounting a new installation work in the gallery during the day. Gallery visitors are welcome. An intimate cocktail reception will follow from 3 - 6 pm.

American Berserk is the first solo gallery show of Hegarty's work on the west coast and the inaugural exhibition of Burning in Water's new space in San Francisco. Hegarty's work was recently featured in Sabbath: The 2017 Dorothy Saxe Invitational at San Francisco's Contemporary Jewish Museum. This fall, Hegarty will be represented inBlack Mirror at the Saatchi Gallery in London.  A solo exhibition of new large-scale installation work will open in October at Burning in Water - New York.
