Please join SCRAP + The San Francisco Arts Education Project for a day of workshops, performances and music.
In partnership with Imperfect Produce, special installations by Dianne Platner will redefine the cosmetic standards for fruits and vegetables by highlighting the beauty and flavor of produce previously deemed as waste. Live yarn bombing demonstrations by Nomesha Williams will brighten the Atrium of Minnesota Street Project while visitors take the opportunity to practice their own creativity with SCRAP Hats, a series of family-friendly creative reuse workshops held throughout the day.
A lineup of performances in the Atrium include music by Don Prell and his recycled cello and DJ sets by James Collins. SCRAP'S exhibition Reclaimed: Elevating the Art of Reuse will also be open for its final day of viewing in the San Francisco Arts Education Project space.
This event is free + open to the public. RSVP here.
