Free Third Saturday Workshop
Discover the magic of the sun with this hands-on cyanotype workshop! Participants of all ages will have the opportunity to experiment with varied image-making techniques, utilizing stencils, existing objects and shapes to create unique takeaways. A cyanotype print works where the rays of the sun (or a strong light) expose a coated surface, turning it blue. Any parts masked from light will remain unchanged, leading to infinite possibilities of compositions and forms. All materials will be provided, and visitors are encouraged to also bring small objects from home which can be used to make prints. Flat objects work best (think a comb, leaves or paperclips). Bring your imagination!
