On Saturday, April 18th from 1-3 pm at Eleanor Harwood Gallery there will be a casual and communal noise / sound event in the gallery. Joe Ferriso is inviting kids and anyone else who might wander by might feel free to pick up an instrument and play. There will be some sound stations for people to interact with. It's meant to be a cathartic experiment in sound, no rules, just improvisation. We hope you can swing by!
"I've always equated sound with vision. When a painting feels right it's usually about tone, pitch or timbre. I've never studied music or learned how to properly play an instrument and perhaps that's why it feels so liberating to experiment with sound."
