Phillip Maisel
Phillip Maisel’s practice sits at the intersection between photography, sculpture, collage, and installation. Whilst reflecting strong formal and architectural concerns, Maisel’s work is also an exploration of visual perception. Through nuanced repetition and permutation, Maisel seeks out an engaged type of looking that conflicts with the contemporary affliction of superficial scanning.
