Jack Fischer Gallery
Jack Fischer Gallery opened 16 years ago with a focus on exhibiting the work of so-called “outsider” artists alongside “insider” artists.
As the gallery’s program expanded, the interest has evolved from a strictly overarching interest in narrative work to include both abstraction and conceptual work. Despite the disparate styles of the represented artists, the common ground of every work is based on intuition, vision and heart. One of the most important factors in the program is that the hand of the artist be readily apparent.
Two years ago, the gallery expanded with the opening of a second location at Minnesota Street Project, allowing space for more exhibitions, new artists, and the continued cultivation of artists who have been with the gallery for many years.
